Mysuru: C.K. Venkataraman, Managing Director of Titan Company Limited, Bengaluru, who is on a day-long tour to various centres run by Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement (SVYM) for a CSR Familiarisation Programme, visited Vivekananda Institute for Leadership Development (V-LEAD) this morning and reviewed the works and activities undertaken there.
The Titan Company has provided funds through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) scheme and the Titan Company MD also went through various activities taken up by V-LEAD and requirement of extra funding from Titan Company.
During the day-long visit, C.K. Venkataraman and team will visit Vivekananda Institute of Indian Students (VIIS), Mysuru; Inaugurate home-based biogas plants at Jompanahalli; Interact with Chips Making Unit team at Annurhaadi; Visit Vivekananda Memorial Hospital, Viveka School of Excellence, Janadhwani – Community Radio Station (SVYM Saragur); Viveka Rural Livelihood Centre (VRLC) at Kenchanahalli; Viveka Tribal Centre for Learning (VTCL) at Hosahalli and VTCL’s 35th School Day function.
