Mysuru: Nanjangud Industries Association (NIA) in association with Department of Factories and Boilers, Government of Karnataka, Mysuru Division, St. John’s Ambulance Association, Mysuru, have jointly organised a one-day 65th training programme on First-Aid for Industrial Workers and Supervisors on Sept. 25 from 9 am to 5 pm at Hotel Shree Guru Residency, JLB Road Cross, Mysuru.
The need for First-Aid is greater than ever because of the increased use of machines and electrical appliances in everyday work at home and at workplace. Thus, there is an ever-growing demand for First-Aid training.
Additional Deputy Commissioner B.R. Poornima will inaugurate the programme. Deputy Director of Factories, Mysuru Division Narendra Babu will preside.
The faculty for this programme will be Dr. B. Prakash, an experienced First-Aid Trainer from St. John’s Ambulance Association. The program will be presented through lectures, discussions, case studies, interaction and demonstrations.
