Mysuru/Mysore: A week-long programme “Training the Trainer” on Aptitude, Verbal and Reasoning Skills was organised by the Department of Training and Placement, ATME College of Engineering, Mysuru recently. Faculty members from various departments participated.
Guest of honour and In-Charge Principal Dr. L. Parthasarathy, Professor and Head, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering addressed the participants and said it is a unique Faculty development Programme where In-House Faculty members get trained and subsequently train the students and make them industry ready.
Resource Person Diwakar Ramachandra started the session on Quantitative Aptitude. He covered topics on Percentages, Ratios and Proportions, Permutation and Combination, Profit and Loss, Alligation or Mixture, Time and Work, Speed, Time and Distance, Data Interpretation etc.
He also covered topics on Reasoning and verbal skills and explained Analysing Arguments, Statements and Assumptions, Coded Inequalities, Blood Relationship, Order and Ranking. Pre and Post Training assessment Test was conducted to evaluate students.
