Mysuru: Dr. Hanumanthachar Joshi, Principal, Sarada Vilas College of Pharmacy, Mysuru, has been conferred with the prestigious Travel Grant award by Alzheimer’s Association, Rome, Italy.
Travel Fellowships are awarded to young scientists who make exceptional contributions to neuroscience research, especially Alzheimer’s disease. He has been invited by the Association to deliver a plenary lecture on “Potentials of Gangetin-based Phytopharmaceutical Formulation MYSGAN-2 in Management of Dementia” at the International conference on Innovations and State-of-the-art in Dementia Research, from Sept.7 to 9 at Rome.
Dr. Joshi is working in the areas of drug discovery for management of neuro-degenerative disorders, particularly for Alzheimer’s disease. He will also be interacting with faculty and students of Facolta di Farmacia e-Medicina, Sapienza Universita di Roma, University of Rome.
