Sir,
I am deeply saddened and heart-broken by the loss of my dear friend and colleague Dr. Indrani, CFTRI scientist, who passed away in an accident in Lucknow recently.
Albert Einstein had said, “The value of a man should be seen in what he gives and not in what he is able to receive.” Indrani was a woman who gave much to her profession and life.
I have known Indrani since 1991 when I first joined the organisation. I worked with her in Baking Department from 1991-2016 and am presently working in HRD.
What striked me the most was her simplicity and affable nature. She was a thorough professional who guided me lovingly about the nuances of professional life. She shared all the knowledge and expertise she had.
Indrani was focussed, sincere, hard-working and very devoted to her work which is reflected in the research paper publications of high quality in International journals. She had an exemplary ability to work under pressure with a cool demeanour.
An inspiration to all the juniors, she was very humane and helped all the colleagues and students. With her beaming smile and infectious cheerfulness, she exuded hope and positivity. The student fraternity in the campus will miss the classes of this popular Baking Science Professor par excellence.
I always remain deeply thankful to you dear Indrani and you will continue to stay with me in my heart forever. RIP.
