Tourism Minister S.R. Mahesh and Minister for Minor Irrigation C.S. Puttaraju have asked the officials concerned to make necessary preparations to hold Tripurasundariamma Rathotsava at Mugur village in T.Narasipur taluk. Addressing a meeting here recently, the Ministers said that the preliminaries of the Jatra Mahotsava has commenced on Jan.10 and more devotees are expected to arrive from Jan.21 to 25. The Department of Kannada and Culture was asked to organise cultural programmes during the period.
