Mysore/Mysuru: In a embattled situation, MLC Suraj Revanna, accused of unnatural sexual offences involving a male worker of JD(S) party, faces further trouble, as his aide Shivakumar, Treasurer of Suraj Brigade has did a volte-face in the case.
Shivakumar, who is the co-accused in the complaint lodged by the survivor against Suraj, had lodged a complaint of blackmail against the survivor in Holenarasipura Town Police Station on June 21. However, soon after the arrest of Suraj on Sunday, he mysteriously went disappearing, only to reappear on a vernacular news channel on Monday.
He (Shivakumar) has accused Suraj of forcing him to file a false complaint against the survivor, who is also his friend. Besides, he has also alleged that, he is facing threat to his life along with the survivor, from the followers of Suraj.
It is alleged that, Suraj had sexually assaulted the survivor at his Ghannikada Farm House on June 16. A day after the incident, the survivor had informed Shivakumar about the incident and had also told him to ask Suraj to help his family members, if anything ill happens to him.
Following the developments related to the case, that happened at a lightning speed, Shivakumar left Hassan for Bengaluru. He has also announced to lodge a Police complaint against Suraj and reveal all to the Police.
