Mysuru/Mysore: Jayamma (84), mother of retired Sociology Professor at Mysore University, who is presently serving as Tumkur Vice-Chancellor Dr. Y.S. Siddegowda and a resident of T.K. Layout, passed away yesterday following heart attack.
She leaves behind five sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at her native place Yaliyuru on Honganur-Kodamballi route (22-km from Channapatna) this morning, according to family sources.
