Mysuru lad Aryan Pathange, representing India and taking part in the TVS-ITF Grade V Junior tennis tournament at Trivada Tennis Academy courts, Madurai, won his second round junior boys singles tie against fourteenth seeded Abhishek Shukla 6-4, 6-3 and entered the pre-quarterfinals on Tuesday.
In the other second-round boys singles matches, eighth seeded Bikramjeeth Singh Chawla beat Mysuru lad Manish Ganesh 6-4, 3-6, 6-4, while C.H. Arjun got the better of Mysuru’s Arnav Pathange 7-6(4), 6-4 and progressed further.
In the junior boys doubles second round, Udit Kamboj and Arnav Pathange combined well to beat Yash Chaurasia and Tushar Madan 6-3, 6-4.
