Hoysala Kannada Sangha and Savigannada Pathrika Balaga together had organised a function at Sri Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha on JLB Road in city on June 29 to mark the 74th birthday of writer Prof. K. Bhyravamurthy and for the release of books — ‘Kannada Gandhi’ written by Ranganath Mysuru and ‘Sahitya Sangama’ written by B.P. Ashwath Narayan.
Littérateur Dr. C.P. Krishna Kumar (CPK), writers Prof. K. Bhyravamurthy, Dr. Malali Vasanthkumar and Dr. C.G. Ushadevi, Paediatrician Dr. H.B. Rajashekar, former Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Maddikere Gopal and others were present on the occasion.
