Mysuru: A two-day international seminar on ‘Pravasi Hindi Sahitya’ organised jointly by Department of Studies in Hindi, Mysore University and Kendriya Hindi Sansthan (KHS), Agra, commenced this morning at Rani Bahadur auditorium in Manasagangothri here.
Hindi Writer from Britain Usha Raje Saxena inaugurated the programme. Presiding over the programme Mysore University Registrar Dr. Lingaraj Gandhi commended Hindi writers from India who have migrated to other countries and promoting Hindi literature. He opined that such a process would establish a good connectivity among writers across the globe.
Ram Veer Singh of KHS and Dr. R. Shashidharan, In-charge VC, Science and Technology University, Cochin, were the chief guests. Department of Studies in Hindi Chairperson Dr. Prathiba Mudaliar and others were present along with about 100 researchers and faculty.
