Two-day Intl. Conference on ‘Healthcare Innovation’ at VVCE

Mysuru: The two-day Annual International Conference on Recent Trends in Healthcare Innovation (AICRTHI)-2024 has been organised by the Department of Information Science and Engineering at Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE), Mysuru, on Oct. 24 and 25.

This event brings together business leaders, practitioners, industry professionals and researchers from around the globe to investigate the most recent developments and deliberate on innovative approaches to technology, business and research.

The conference will feature research papers from academics and faculty from India and beyond, with a particular emphasis on healthcare innovation in fields such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science.

Over 62 papers will be presented during the meet. The inaugural function of the two-day conference will be held on Oct. 24 at 9.30 am at B.C. Lingaiah Hall of VVCE.

Dr. Animesh Acharjee of the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom, who is an assistant professor in integrative analytics and artificial intelligence in the Department of Cancer and Genomic Sciences, will deliver the keynote speech.

Gundappa Gowda, President of Vidyavardhaka Sangha, Mysuru, will preside. P. Vishwanath, Hon. Secretary and Shrishaila Ramannavar, Treasurer, Vidyavardhaka Sangha will be the guests of honour.

Dr. B. Sadashive Gowda, Principal, VVCE, Dr. Shobha Shankar, Vice-Principal and Dean of Academic Affairs, Dr. V. Ravi Kumar, Head, Department of Information Science and Engineering, Dr. G.B. Krishnappa, Dean of Research and Development, Dr. H.L. Gururaj, Associate Professor, MIT Bengaluru and Dr. N.S. Prema, Associate Professor, Department of IS&E, will be present.

Dr. M.S. Dinesh, Principal Scientist at Philips Bengaluru, will be the keynote speaker at the valedictory session.
