Mysuru/Mysore: A two-day Lions Carnival, organised by Lions Club International District 317A, will be held on Jan. 11 and 12 at Town Hall premises in city.
Disclosing this at a press meet here yesterday, Lions District Governor Ln. Dr. Nagaraj V. Bairy said that the Carnival will be inaugurated by Mayor Pushpalatha Jagannath at 10.30 am. The members of Lions Clubs and their family members will be taking part.
A health check up camp for the poor will be held on Jan. 11 from 10.30 am to 1 pm at the venue. Aahara Mela, exhibition, drawing, singing and dance competitions, Magic Show, Fashion Show, Music programme and other cultural programmes for senior citizens will be held.
Entry fee is Rs. 20 and donations will be collected for the sevice activities by the Club. Entry is free for free health check up camp. Those interested to participate in the competitions may contact Mob: 96866-67867.
