A two-day National Seminar on Swami Vivekananda Maanavtavaada- Ondu Lokasangraha Drushti, organised by the DoS in Philosophy, Swami Vivekananda Chair, University of Mysore will be held on Sept.17 and 18 at Educational Multimedia Research Centre (EMRC) Hall, Manasagangothri in city. Sept.17: Swami Veereshanandaji, Sri Ramakrishna Vivekananda Ashrama, Tumakuru will inaugurate. UoM Registrar Prof.R. Rajanna will be the chief guest. In-charge VC Prof. T.K. Umesh will preside. Sept.18: Swami Yukteshanandaji of Sri Ramakrishna Vidyashala, Mysuru, will deliver the valedictory address. Registrar (Evaluation) Prof. J. Somashekar will preside. Dr. S. Venkatesh, President, DoS in Philosophy, Visiting Professor Dr. V.N. Sheshagiri Rao and Assistant Professor Dr. M. Daniel, are among those who will be present.
