Two-day Natl. seminar on Tribal Livelihood from Sept. 25

Mysuru: The Karnataka State Tribal Research Institute, Mysuru, will hold a two-day national seminar on ‘Tribal Livelihood in India – Challenges and Opportunities’ from Sept. 25 at Administrative Training Institute (ATI) in Nazarbad.

The seminar aims to bring various stakeholders like academicians, policy makers, officials, programme administrators, representatives of civil society, scheduled tribe representatives, NGOs, social development activists and practitioners to debate  and discuss about  the tribal livelihood in India. The seminar attempts to focus on these issues theoretically as well as empirically.

Registration fees for faculty and academicians is Rs. 1,000 each and for Research Scholars and students the registration fees is Rs. 500. For further details, contact Ph: 0821 2560274, according to a press release.
