Mysuru: A two-day National Seminar on “The Social and Ethical Dimensions of Gandhian Philosophy” has been organised by the Post-Graduate Department of Philosophy, University of Mysore from Feb.20 at EMMRC Auditorium, Manasagangothri, at 10 am.
The Seminar is organised to commemorate the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, said the Department of Philosophy Chairman Dr. S. Venkatesh and Swami Vivekananda Chair Visiting Professor V. N. Sheshagiri Rai in press release.
The Seminar is expected to help experts in the field of Social Work, History, Economics, Education, Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy, Ancient Indian Medicine etc. Experts from Ernakulam, Vishakhapatnam, Dharwad, Goa, Chennai and Bengaluru will attend.
Stalwarts Prof. G.N. Rechanna, Prof. G.S. Jayadeva, Prof. M. V. Sridhara, Prof. K.B. Prabhu Prasad, Dr. R. Balasubramanyam and Prof. K. Raghavendra Pai will also to attend the seminar.
