Mysuru: Nazarbad Police, on Jan. 6, have arrested a man on charges of lifting two-wheelers. The accused was picked up by the Police, when he was standing with the stolen two-wheeler near the truck terminal.
During interrogation, the accused is said to have confessed of stealing two-wheelers in Mysuru city and Nanjangud limits. Based on the information provided by the accused, the Police have recovered 11 two-wheelers worth Rs. 7 lakh from him.
Following the arrest, the Police have solved five cases in Nazarbad Police Station, four cases in Alanahalli and one case each in Krishnaraja and Nanjangud Town Police Station.
DCP (Crime and Traffic) S. Jahnavi and Devaraja Sub-Division ACP Shanthamallappa guided Nazarbad Inspector M. Mahadevaswamy, Sub-Inspectors Srinivas Patil and Nataraju and staff B.V. Prakash, Satish Kumar, P.S. Ramesh, M. Sanju, R. Venkatesh, Mohammed Ismail, Automation Centre Sub-Inspectors Chandrashekar Rao and Pradeep and Technical Wing’s Kumar in the operation.
