20 vehicles worth Rs. 9 lakh recovered
Mysore/Mysuru: Nazarbad Police, on Feb. 12, arrested a person who was moving around on a Honda Dio scooter in a suspicious manner near Udayagiri Road and interrogated him.
During interrogation, the Police came to know that the accused had lifted various two-wheelers in Mysuru city, Mandya and Bengaluru. Based on the information provided by the accused, the Police have recovered 20 two-wheelers worth Rs. 9 lakh from him.
Following the arrest, the Police have solved one case each in Narasimharaja, Lashkar & Krishnaraja Police Stations and nine cases in Nazarbad Police Station, Mysuru; Four cases in Mandya West and three cases in Mandya East Police Stations; One case in Byatarayanapura, Bengaluru.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP – Crime and Traffic), S. Jahnavi and Devaraja Sub-Division ACP S. Shanthamallappa guided Nazarbad Inspector Mahadevaswamy, Sub-Inspector Srinivas Patil and staff S. Satish Kumar, Kiran Rathod, Mallikarjun, M. Sanju and CDR Unit’s Kumar in the nabbing and recovery operation.
