Sir,
With the high increase in number of four-wheelers, it is very difficult to find parking space on most of the main roads in Mysuru. The parking woes get compounded when the two-wheelers park their vehicles in the four-wheeler parking slots, thus encroaching upon the space meant for four-wheelers.
This major traffic rules violation is being totally ignored by Mysuru City Traffic Police authorities. Parking a two-wheeler in a four-wheeler slot is a punishable act under the law.
These law-breakers park their two-wheelers in the parking slot of four-wheelers in spite of having ample parking space for them in the close vicinity.
Mysuru City Traffic Police should take up this issue with the seriousness it demands. It is high time that City Traffic Police get involved in resolving such public issues rather than chasing the never-ending and ever elusive helmet-less riders.
