Mysore/Mysuru: Two women committed suicide in two separate incidents in city on Friday.
In the first incident, Deepa (28), a married woman, ended life on the following day of her 10th wedding anniversary by hanging self at her residence in PKTB Quarters on Friday morning. Deepa, who worked as a nurse at PKTB Hospital had married one Parasappa Kattimani of Vijayapura 10 years ago and the couple had celebrated their wedding anniversary on Thursday. But she ended life by hanging self at her residential quarters on Friday morning and the cause for her extreme step is not yet known, according to V.V. Puram Police who have registered a case in this regard.
In the second incident, a 19-year-old married girl ended life by hanging self at her residence in Muneshwaranagar here on Friday. The deceased id Pallavi, a native of Maralur in Nanjangud taluk. She had married Siddaraju of Muneshwaranagar a year ago. But Pallavi ended her life by hanging self in the bathroom of her house on Friday morning when nobody else was in the house, according to the jurisdictional Vidyaranyapuram Police, who have registered a case in this regard.
