Ugly looking signboards

Sir,

Recently I saw many signboards in Kuvempunagar painted with a patch of white colour (see photo). MCC might have ordered to do so probably to mask the names of people’s representatives (local Corporator or other leader of that area). Knowing that the term of these leaders is not permanent, at the outset, MCC should have not included their names in the signboards. One may note that the job is also not done in a proper manner making it look ugly.

MCC might have spent money for painting these boards and now for blocking the names and the story repeats when new leaders are elected. Is it required to write the leaders’ names on signboards instead of spending that money for some better purpose?
