Sir,
We stay in Mysuru and wanted to experience the joy of flying from Mysore Airport in Mandakalli. We happily booked air tickets from Air India for our trip to Kochi on 8.11.2019 for our travel on 8.12.2019 — Flight AI9893, Booking ref YM76T.
But the happiness lasted for 4 days since I received a mail stating that the flights are cancelled due to technical reasons !
Firstly, cancellation outright without the mention of the amount paid during booking and secondly without making any alternative arrangements by Air India, left us in high and blue. Later I contacted the helpline only to be told that wait for the payment refund.
How can we rely on the Air India flight when a lot of credit is taken for having started the UDAN from Mysuru by the so- called Ministers and AAI.
Such inconvenience put us in a dilemma whether to avail the services of Air India or not!

NOTE: The Mysuru-Kochi flight service offered by Alliance Air, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Air India, has been suspended from November 20, 2019 till March 2020 due to runway re-carpeting work at the Cochin International Airport. —Ed
