Mysuru: In separate incidents, the Jayapura Police and the Mysuru Railway Police have found bodies of unidentified persons in their jurisdictions.
In the first incident, the Jayapura Police, on Sunday have found a body of an unidentified man aged about 37 years which was floating in Hullahalli canal near D. Katur in Jayapura hobli.
Following information from the public, Jayapura Police, who rushed to the spot, fished out the body, conducted mahazar, registered a case and shifted the body to MMC&RI mortuary in city for post-mortem.
The body was found completely naked with no marks of injuries on it. It is yet to be known whether the person was drowned while swimming, had committed suicide or has been murdered. The cause of death would be known only after receiving the post-mortem report and only after a thorough investigation.

In the second incident, the Mysuru Railway Police, on Aug.10, have found the body of an unidentified man aged between 50 and 55 years who was run over by a train between Palahalli and Srirangapatna Railway Stations.
