Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on a three-day visit to State

To inaugurate ‘Mysuru Sangeetha Sugandha’ programme in Mysuru tomorrow

Mysuru: Union Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitharaman will be visiting Karnataka on a three-day visit starting from this evening (Nov. 7).

The Minister will depart New Delhi on a flight at 8.50 pm and arrive in Bengaluru International Airport (BIA) at 11.35 pm. She will be staying overnight at Hotel Taj West End in Bengaluru.

Tomorrow (Nov. 8), she will leave Bengaluru at 9.15 am to Mysuru by road to inaugurate ‘Mysuru Sangeetha Sugandha’ event at KSOU Convocation Hall at 12.30 pm. The event, organised by Ministries of Tourism and Culture, Govt. of India & KSOU, will be attended by Union Minister of State for Petroleum & Natural Gas and Tourism Suresh Gopi, Mysuru District Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa and Mysuru-Kodagu MP Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar.

Following this, Nirmala Sitharaman will visit Planetarium site at Chamundi Foothill between 3 pm and 4.15 pm before heading back to Bengaluru at 4.30 pm by road and will be staying overnight in the State Capital.

On Nov. 9, Nirmala Sitharaman will be taking part in an interaction programme organised by Jain Deemed-to-be-University at Gandhi Nagar in Bengaluru, between 10 am and 11 am.

Later, she will attend the RRB Review Meeting scheduled at Hotel Taj West End, Bengaluru, from 11.30 am to 1 pm. She will be attending meeting with MSMEs, virtual inauguration of eight SIDBI branches and visit one MSME Unit at Peenya Industrial Area between 3 pm and 7 pm, before returning to New Delhi from BIA at 9.10 pm.
