New Delhi: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) issued an order yesterday extending the guidelines to remain in force up to Nov.30.
Unlock guidelines, last month had allowed for reopening of cinemas, theatres and multiplexes with up to 50 percent of their seating capacity and it will continue till Nov. 30. The order further said that lockdown will continue to be implemented strictly in the containment zones till Nov 30. Earlier, the guidelines for reopening activities issued on Sept. 30 were to be in force till Oct. 31.
While most of the activities have been permitted, some involving large number of people have been allowed with restrictions and subject to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) being followed regarding health and safety precautions.
