Unscientific planting of tree-saplings on NH

Sir,

I am concerned about government planting tree-saplings on the NH (T. Narasipur Main Road) unscientifically even without thinking that the NH will get broader; at least in ten years it may become four-lane.

The saplings planted on either side of the road which is just 6 feet away from the road edge  will definitely be chopped off. The top brass who has ordered this planting don’t seem to have common sense that this road will be extended in future  and these trees will be chopped off for road widening.

I spoke with the forest staff who was present there and he  had no idea  about this unscientific planting. His only aim was to plant trees, that’s it.

My concern is that planting trees just 4 to 6 feet away from the NH may lead to more accidents. For example, if some car or bike tries to avoid hitting the front moving vehicle and steer their vehicle to the left side when they are in a medium speed chances are there they will may the full grown tree and lose their life.
