Untimely TTE intervention in Kaveri Express

Sir,

A month ago, I travelled in the infamous S6 coach of Kaveri Express to Chennai. I experienced two kinds of problems during this journey.

Firstly, the coach brake makes a lot of jerky sound every time the train tries to stop. And this happens very frequently all through the journey. It defeats the purpose of preferring to travel by a sleeper coach and night train. Hope this mechanical signal which may be a symptom of a major problem is set right soon.

Secondly, the ticket inspection is carried out only after train leaves Bengaluru Station and this is after 11.30 pm. When passengers have finished dinner and are trying hard to get some sleep despite the jerky movement and harsh sound, comes the pushing hand of the TTE past the midnight. This is quite annoying especially to senior citizens.

This is totally avoidable if the Railways deploy TTE right at Mysuru. I request the authorities to seriously consider these issues.
