Mysuru: A National Seminar on Multi-disciplinary Research is being organised by the Department of Studies in Public Administration, University of Mysore (UoM) and All India Researchers Association from Oct.6 to 8 at Rani Bahadur Auditorium in city.
Addressing a press conference at Crawford Hall yesterday, Acting Vice-Chancellor of UoM Prof. Dayanand Mane said that nearly 125 Researchers from West Bengal, Odisha, Gujarat and other parts of country will participate. Eight stalwarts in different disciplines have been invited for lectures.
Karnataka State Central University, Gulbarga VC Prof. H. M. Maheshwaraiah will inaugurate the seminar on Oct. 6 at 10.30 am. Prof. Balaram will deliver the keynote address. Prof. Mane will preside. The subjects that will be deliberated include Life Sciences, Basic Sciences, Social Sciences, Logistics, Literature, Folklore, Fine Arts, Gender Studies, Journalism Cooperation, Public Administration, Political Science, Law, Commerce, Management, Medical Science and Engineering.
PMEB Director Prof. Yashwant Dongre, Registrar (Evaluation) Prof. J. Somashekar and others were present at the press meet where brochures were released.
