UoM kick-boxers excel at State Championship

The kick-boxing team of University of Mysore (UoM) participated in the 1st State-level Kick-Boxing Championship-2021 held at Yoga Hall, behind Gymnasium Hall, Sports Pavilion, UoM, on Aug. 11 and bagged 1st Runner-up Trophy with one gold, six silver and two bronze medals. The medal-winning kick-boxers — (standing from left) K. Dinesh Kumar (silver medal in low-kick – 67 kg), B.P. Rakesh (bronze in point fight – 57 kg), K. Guruprasad (silver in point fight – 69 kg), M. Gunashekar (silver in low-kick – 75 kg), K. Jayashankar (silver in low-kick – 63.5 kg), M.B.
