University of Mysore (UoM) is offering application-oriented interdisciplinary technology-oriented M.Tech Course in Materials Science sponsored by the University Grants Commission (UGC), under the University with Potential for Excellence. The course is open for BE/MBBS/ B.Tech /B.Pharma/BDS/ B.Sc (Ag), M.Sc and any B.Sc degree holders. There are 30 seats totally out of which 15 seats will be allotted to scheme ‘A’ and remaining 15 will be allotted to Scheme ‘B’. The curriculum will be taught by senior Professors from Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Polymer Science and Earth Science Departments.
The course is run at Vijnana Bhavan in Manasagangothri. The UoM has established this unique Centre equipped with all the sophisticated instruments required for the teaching and research in Materials Science and Nanotechnology.
