Mysore/Mysuru: Registrar (Administration) of University of Mysore (UoM) V. R. Shylaja has taken the additional charge as Registrar (Administration) of Karnataka State Gangubai Hanagal Music and Performing Arts University, Mysuru.
Shylaja took charge from the outgoing Registrar of Music Varsity Dr. T. S. Devaraja yesterday.
According to the notification issued by the Government dated July 26, Dr. Devaraja, Professor of Commerce, PG Centre Hassan, UoM, who had been posted as the Registrar of Music Varsity on Mar. 7, 2022, has been sent back to his home University on his own request with immediate effect
V.R. Shylaja, the KAS (Senior Scale) Officer has been given the additional charge of Music Varsity until the appointment of a KAS (Senior Scale) Officer as fulltime Registrar or until further orders, according to Under-Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department (University-1), M. Sheetal Hiremath.
