Mysuru: University of Mysore (UoM) has secured 148th position among the Universities of eight South Asian countries in the recently published Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings.
Every year QS Organisation announces rankings for higher educational institutions across the globe on the basis of six key indicators. They are: Research & Discovery, Academic Reputation, Citations per Faculty Learning Experience, Faculty Student Ratio, Employability, Employer Reputation, Global Engagement, International Student Ratio and International Faculty Ratio.
The UoM has secured this ranking on the basis of its achievements in the fields of teaching, research and creation of jobs.
“The efforts of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the staff in accurately portraying the statistics and records of the Varsity meeting the guidelines of QS, is really commendable.
