Mysore/Mysuru: Certificates of Urdu course were distributed to students at MEWA Centre in Shanthinagar recently by chief guest Prof. Shahida Shaheen.
Addressing the students, she felt happy that some housewives are learning Urdu at this Centre. Every child must learn his or her mother-tongue, as it is easy to understand. Nida Fatima, Saniya and Humera Khanum recited poems. Sarfaraz ur Rahman presided. Nyamathulla Khan, organiser of Idara Adbiyat Urdu, Hyderabad, welcomed.
Abbas Sharieff, artist, was present. Abdul Munaf proposed a vote of thanks. Uzma Sultana compered.
