I wish to draw attention to the deteriorating condition of the Old DC Office building in our city. This structure is not only historically significant but also a poignant reminder of our rich heritage. Unfortunately, it is now being neglected, leading to its alarming state of disrepair.
The Old DC Office building, an architectural gem, has stood as a testament to our history for many years. However, it is now plagued with visible damage, including cracks and poorly maintained surroundings, giving it an abandoned and unsafe appearance.
The authorities must act swiftly to address this issue. The building requires proper maintenance and restoration to halt further deterioration. Reviving this historical structure will not only preserve an integral part of our heritage but also ensure its legacy endures for future generations.
I earnestly urge the authorities to prioritise the preservation of this historical landmark. Let us safeguard this treasure, allowing it to continue narrating the story of our past for years to come.
