V.K. Bhat (77), retired Indian Overseas Bank Manager and a resident of Vishweshwaranagar, passed away on Friday at a private hospital in city following brief illness.
He leaves behind his wife Jayalaxmi, son Krishna Prasad, daughters Veena and Vani, sons-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. His younger brother Subramanya Bhat had pre-deceased him on Dec. 20, 2021.
Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill on Friday afternoon.
