Mysore/Mysuru: As part of its battle against the deadly COVID pandemic, the MCC will vaccinate all street vendors and specially-abled persons, who have registered with it.
Announcing this yesterday, MCC Commissioner G. Lakshmikantha Reddy said that registered street vendors will be vaccinated from June 16 to 20 at Town Hall, while the specially-abled will be vaccinated from June 17 to 19 at the School for the Blind at Tilaknagar in city.
The vaccination will take place from 10 am to 4 pm on all the said days, he said.
The eligible street vendors are required to bring their Aadhaar card, registration card, vendor certificate etc., while the specially-abled are required to carry their Aadhaar and the identity card issued by the Disabled Welfare Department.
The MCC will be deploying vehicles for ferrying the vaccine beneficiaries from near their homes to the vaccination centres.
