The ISKCON temple in Jayanagar, Mysuru, will be celebrating Vaikunta Ekadashi on Jan. 2 (Monday) and Srikrishna Balarama Ratha Yatra in the city on Jan. 7. Vaikunta Ekadashi rituals will commence from 7.30 am on Jan.2 and the Vaikunta Dwara created at the temple will be open for devotees till 10 pm on that day.
Srikrishna Balarama Ratha Yatra will take place on Jan.7. A grand procession will be taken out from Kote Anjaneyaswamy temple at the Palace North Gate to ISKCON temple in Jayanagar at 4.30 pm, passing through the main thoroughfares of city, following which arati puja will be performed in the temple at 8.30 pm.
