Mysore/Mysuru: The valedictory ceremony of two-month online coaching classes for aspirants taking up KAS and other competitive exams, conducted by the Competitive Examination Coaching Centre (CECC) of Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) will be held tomorrow (Aug. 12) at 11 am.
In a press release, KSOU Registrar Prof. Lingaraj Gandhi said senior IAS Officer P. Manivannan will be virtually participating in the valedictory from Bengaluru and address the aspirants. KSOU Vice- Chancellor Prof. S. Vidyashankar will preside and release a reference book ‘Mukta Bhandara.’ Chief Administrative Officer of Karnataka Rural Infrastructure Development Corporation A.M. Yogesh and BBMP Special Commissioner Basavaraju will also be present.
According to co-ordinator of KSOU Competitive Training Centre Jainahalli Satyanarayana Gowda, ever since its inception in 2011, KSOU has been conducting various coaching classes for competitive exams including UPSC and KPSC. The 60-day coaching for aspirants taking up KAS and other competitive exams began on June 10. Over 450 candidates from different parts of the State participated and tomorrow (Aug. 12) is the last day of two-month online coaching session.
