The District Administration, Zilla Panchayat (ZP), Scheduled Tribe Welfare Department and Mysore city and taluks Nayaka Associations have jointly organised Valmiki Jayanthi at Kalamandira premises on Oct. 9 at 10 am. District Minister S.T. Somashekar will inaugurate. MLA L. Nagendra will preside. Mayor Shivakumar, MPs Pratap Simha, V. Sreenivasa Prasad and Sumalatha Ambarish, Chairmen of Boards and Corporations and other dignitaries will be present.
