‘Vanasiri’ programme in city tomorrow

Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA), Shri Kshethra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP) and Rajeev Sneha Balaga have jointly organised ‘Vanasiri’ programme, an initiative to plant 25,000 saplings tomorrow (July 13) at KSOU Convocation Hall at 10 am. Suttur Mutt Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji will grace the occasion.

Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade will inaugurate the programme by planting a sapling at the KSOU premises. The stage programme will be inaugurated by the District In-charge Minister S.T. Somashekar. MUDA Chairman H.V. Rajeev will preside over the event. Senior Journalist H.R. Ranganath’s book will be released. Senior Journalist Ravindra Bhat will be conferred with ‘Siri Samvardhana’ award.

Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha and in-Charge Mayor Sunanda Palanetra will be the chief guests. MPs, MLAs and other leaders will be present in the programme, according to a press release.
