On Wednesdays between Nov.29 and Dec. 27
Mysore/Mysuru: South Western Railway (SWR) has decided to run Vande Bharat Express special between Chennai-Mysuru-Chennai on every Wednesday between Nov.29 and Dec. 27, 2023 (5 trips) to clear extra rush of passengers as detailed below:
1. Train No.06037 Chennai to Mysuru will depart Chennai at 05.50 hrs and arrives in Mysuru at 12.20 hrs. Enroute the train will have commercial stoppages at Katpadi (arrival 07.13 hrs and departure 07.15 hrs) and KSR Bengaluru (arrival 10.10 hrs and departure 10.15 hrs).
2. Train No.06038 Mysuru to Chennai will depart Mysuru at 13.05 hrs and arrives in Chennai at 19.20 hrs. Enroute the train will have commercial stoppages at KSR Bengaluru (arrival at 14.50 hrs and departure at 14.55 hrs) and Katpadi (arrival at 17.33 hrs and departure at 17.35 hrs).
The train will have a composition of eight coaches. Travelling public are urged to utilise this Vande Bharat Express special services for a comfortable journey, according to a press release from J. Lohiteshwara, Senior Divisional Commercial Manage and Sr.PRO.
