Vani P. Rao (58), wife of Shankar Prasad and a resident of Jayalakshmipuram, Mysuru, passed away on Dec. 26.
She was the Chief Librarian at St. Joseph’s College. She had also worked at St. Joseph’s School, Yelwal and Basudev Somani College.
She was a regular teaching resource person at RIE Mysore.
She leaves behind her husband, two daughters (Gauri Nadig and Suhasini Nadig) and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill on Dec. 26.
