Varadaraju (85), a fertiliser trader and Proprietor of Kannan Agencies, passed away yesterday in the town.
He leaves behind his wife, sons Venugopal and Raghupathi, two daughters, brother V. Prabhakar (President of Chamarajanagar Chamber of Commerce) and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at the family’s farm land near Mariyalahundi Gate this afternoon.
