Mysuru: The Syndicate of the University of Mysore (UoM) has recommended Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad, Director, Chandrashekar as its representative for the Search Committee to appoint the Vice-Chancellor (VC) of the Varsity. The VC?position is lying vacant since Prof. K.S.?Rangappa retired on Jan. 10, 2017.
The UoM has sent a communication in this regard to Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Rudabhai Vala, who is also the Chancellor of the State Universities.
