Vedike extends support to CM

Mysore/Mysuru: Hindulida Vargagala Jagruthi Vedike has extended its support to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in the alleged MUDA scam. In round table conference held at a private hotel yesterday, the Vedike accused the BJP of conspiracy and added it was important to stand with Siddaramaiah and protest against the Opposition parties.

Speaking on the occasion, Vedike President K. Shivaramu said that BJP, not tolerating Siddaramaiah’s growth, was hatching plans to dethrone Siddaramaiah as the Chief Minister and added, the plots allocated to Siddaramaiah’s wife Parvathi was legal.

“Both BJP and JD(S) have been targeting CM Siddaramaiah who has been working for the welfare of the dalits, minorities and backward communities,” he said and accused BJP State President B.Y. Vijayendra and former CM B.S. Yediyurappa of being the brainchild behind the MUDA Scam since it had occurred when BJP was at the helm of affairs.

District Congress Committee President Dr. B.J. Vijaykumar, Prof. K.S. Bhagwan, former Rangayana Director Janardhan, Dalit Sangharsha Samithi Convenor Yogesh Uppar, Ravinandan, Lokesh Madapura and others were present.
