As part of ‘World Vegan Month’, Consumers for Sustainability (CFS) and the Plant-Based Foods Industry Association (PBFIA), in partnership with Wadiyar College of Architecture (WCFA), are hosting a public event focused on educating attendees about the power of mindful food choices. The event, to be held on Nov. 15 from 5.30 pm to 8 pm at Wadiyar College of Architecture, will emphasise how simple shifts in diet can benefit personal health, protect biodiversity, and positively impact our planet. The highlight of the event will be a screening of a documentary inspired by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report titled ‘Now or Never’.
This hard-hitting, visually compelling film, narrated by Academy Award-winning actress Kate Winslet, explores the profound environmental impact of our food choices, showing how plant-based diets can play a pivotal role in mitigating climate change. The event aims to highlight practical, accessible ways for individuals to make a positive impact through their everyday simple food choices.
