Vehicular traffic banned on Dhanvanthri Road for UGD works

Mysore/Mysuru: Due to underground drainage works taken up by the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC), vehicular movement on the stretch from Dasappa Circle to Sangeetha Vidwan Devendrappa Circle on Dhanvanthri road in the heart of the city, has been banned for some days.

The vehicular traffic ban has been enforced for enabling laying of UGD pipeline from Anjaneyaswamy Temple adjoining CFTRI main entrance gate on KRS road to J.K. Grounds. Motorists are advised to take alternative routes.

Accordingly, motorists coming from KRS main road have to take a left turn at Dasappa Circle and travel towards Babu Jagjivan Ram Circle (Railway Station Circle) to reach Puttugopalashetty Circle (J.K. Grounds) and move onwards.

Motorists coming from Hunsur road and JLB road side should travel from Field Marshal K.M.Cariappa Circle (Hotel Metropole Circle) and move forward.

Motorists coming from Jagjivan Ram Circle side should travel via Field Marshal K.M. Cariappa Circle and pass through Vinoba road for onward journey.

Motorists coming from Dhanvanthri road and Dewan’s road should travel via Puttugopalashetty Circle and Babu Jagjivan Ram Circle or through D. Ramaswamy (Appajappa) Circle – Field Marshal K.M. Cariappa Circle and move onwards.
