Venkatesh (57), Head Master at Government Higher Primary School in Chittikyathanahalli and a resident of Kalkunike Housing Board in the town, passed away yesterday night in the town.
He leaves behind his wife, one son, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were held in the town this afternoon, according to family sources.
