Mysuru: Vishwa Hindu Parishat (VHP), Mysuru Division, has organised Samarasya Rath Yatre on Dec. 15 and 16 in the city. The Yatre will be flagged off from the foot of Chamundi Hill at 9.30 am in the presence of Sri Someshwaranatha Swamiji, Secretary of Adichunchanagiri Branch Mutt, Mysuru and Sri Sachchidananda Saraswathi Swamiji, Shivananda Ashram.
According to VHP Mysuru District President Mahesh Kamath and Secretary M.P. Madhushankar, the rath yatre is being organised to unite all Hindus.
Dec. 15: 9 am – Flagging off at the foot of Chamundi Hill, 10.30 am – Pourakarmika Colony through Bhootale Pitch, Sewage Farm in Vidyaranyapuram, 12 noon – NIE College Road, Ashokapuram, Dr. Ambedkar Park, 2 pm – Manandavadi Road, Ashokapuram, ISKCON Temple, 3 pm – ISKCON Road, Kudure Mala, T.K. Layout, 5 pm – New Kantharaj Urs Road, JLB Road, Nanjangud Road, Sri Ganapathi Sachchidananda Ashram, night halt.
Dec.16: 9 am – Yatre resumes from Ganapathi Sachchidananda Ashram, 10.30 am – Nanjangud Road, Mall of Mysore, M.G. road, Kurubarahalli, 1st Cross Road, Arali Mara Junction, 12 noon – Dairy Road, Chamundi Vihar Stadium Road, Gandhinagar Siddappaji Temple, 2 pm – Fountain Circle, Bannimantap Main Road, Jodi Tengina Mara, 3.30 pm – Bamboo Bazaar, Yadavagiri, Manjunathapura, Metagalli Ring Road, 5 pm – KRS Road, Metagalli, 6 pm – Ring Road, Manipal Hospital Junction, Ring Road, Deve Gowda Circle, towards Chamarajanagar.
