Mysuru: Ganabharathi, Mysuru, has organised a grand Karnatak Vocal Concert by well-known musician Vid. Kalyanapuram S. Aravind at Veene Seshanna Bhavana on Adichunchanagiri Road in Kuvempunagar tomorrow (Sept. 20) at 6 pm.
He will be accompanied by Vid. Mathur Srinidhi on violin and Vid. B.S. Prashanth on mridanga. The concert is sponsored by Kumar Subramanya (USA) in memory of his father and teacher of yesteryears late Y.S. Subramanyam.
About the artiste: Vid. Kalyanapuram S. Aravind is a highly sought after performer. A student of vocalist Sangeeta Kalanidhi Padma Bhushana Vid. T.N. Sheshagopalan, he is a ‘B’ high grade artiste of All India Radio.
Known for ‘Neraval’ and Ragalapane in his singing, his concerts are unique and highly recognised in the field of Karnatak music.
